Meagen Heronemus, FNP-C

Meagen Heronemus has been Nurse Practitioner since 2019, primarily serving Corsicana and the surrounding communities by treating homebound and chronically ill patients. Meagen believes that patient care is more than just what happens in the clinic and that patients frequently need assistance from several disciplines to function at their highest level. Meagen began her nursing career in 2011 as a Certified Nurse Aide, working at a nursing home in Plano while she completed her nursing degree. She became a Registered Nurse in 2015 with an Associates Degree in Nursing from Navarro College. She wokred at Navarro Regional Hospital while continuing her education, earning her BSN in 2016 and MSN in 2019 from the University of Texas at Arlington. During this time, she cared for patients at home with New Century Hospice. Since being a licensed NP, Meagen has provided care at home for patients who are temporarily or permanently homebound due to severe illness or injury. Her goal, whether in the clinic of at home, is to serve patients and families by providing compassionate care and by encouraging patients to be involved in making informed decisions about their health. Outside of work, Meagen enjoys spending time with her two teenage sons, watching movies and traveling. She is excited to be part of the Bluebonnet Family and hopes to continue to learn and grow here for many years to come.
